The INSTM (National Interuniversity Consortium on Material Science and Technology), established in September 1992 as a Consortium of Italian Universities, has the goal to promote research activities in the field of Chemistry of Materials. Nowadays it groups 44 Italian Universities and more than about 2000 researcher members.
The Unit Research of the Milano-Bicocca University, INSTM partner, involves some researchers of the Department of Materials Science with experience in synthesis, physico-chemical and electrochemical characterisation of materials for EC devices, electronic, and electrochemical applications. It will provide support for the activities related to the collaborative project. Facilities and equipment for chemical syntheses, electrochemical, and spectroelectrochemical characterisation as well as long runs and life-time and response time tests for EC devices are available.
